Privacy Policy

Effective 6 June 2026 · Vedvak (“we”, “us”), India.

Vedvak provides AI-powered Vedic astrology (Kundali Milan and personal readings) over WhatsApp. This policy explains what we collect and why, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What we collect

• Contact: your WhatsApp phone number and display name.
• Birth details you provide: name, date of birth, time of birth and place of birth of the people to be matched.
• Documents you send: biodata PDFs or images you upload for us to read.
• Reports we generate: your Kundali and match reports.
• Payment: handled by our payment provider; we do not store card details.
• Basic logs: message timestamps and delivery status, to run and support the service.

How we use it

Only to generate and deliver your reports, provide support, take payment, and improve accuracy. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who we share data with

• WhatsApp / Meta: to send and receive your messages.
• Cloud AI & hosting providers: to read biodatas, generate your report, and store files temporarily.
• Payment provider: to process payment.

We share only what’s needed to run the service, under each partner’s own security and privacy terms, and we don’t sell your data.

How long we keep it

Uploaded biodatas and generated files are automatically deleted after 30 days. Your phone number and order history are kept until you ask us to delete them. See Delete my data.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, nominate, and raise a grievance. Use Delete my data, or email contact@vedvak.com.

Security & children

We use reasonable safeguards, though no method is perfectly secure. The service is for adults arranging a marriage match and is not directed at anyone under 18.
